All Grades: Volunteers Needed for 8th Grade Promotion + Party
8th Grade Promotion is coming up, and we need a few volunteers to help make these events run smoothly for the Class of 2030.
There are a few different ways to help:
- Promotion Ceremony support
- Tuesday, June 2, 9:30–11:30A – This is typically filled by 6th and 7th grade families paying it forward
- Urban Air Promotion Party chaperones
- Wednesday, June 3, 4:45-9:00P – 8th grade families only
- Raffle support
- Donate gift cards/prizes or help us gather items for the party raffle

Lunch Time Helpers at Foothill
Foothill needs your help at lunch! Volunteers typically monitor the lunch line or supervise the ball cart on the blacktop, but may be asked to lend a hand elsewhere. Sign up for 1st or 2nd lunch — or both.
- Please confirm your MDUSD volunteer status is current (fingerprinting + TB test required). Instructions: MDUSD Volunteer Info
- Sign in at the office, get a visitor badge, and you’re set!

Help Stock Foothill’s Library: Games & Art Supplies Drive
Let’s give our Griffins more screen-free fun at brunch and lunch! 💜💛
We’re collecting games and art supplies to create a welcoming, low-tech hangout space in the Foothill Library. These items will be available for students to use during brunch and lunch, giving them more opportunities to connect, create, and play—without Chromebooks.
What we’re looking for:
We’re asking for new or gently used items (please make sure games have all their pieces and supplies are in good, usable condition).
How it works:
- Please sign up for one or more items below.
- New or gently used items are welcome.
- Drop donations in the Foothill office during regular office hours and label them “Library – PFA Donation.”
